Manon Van Der Lee holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Body and Movement Oriented Psychotherapy and has many years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has worked across a range of settings, including non-government organisations, psychiatric wards, and treatment centres for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Manon has a special interest in helping people who have experienced trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), as well as those navigating emotional and behavioural challenges. She draws on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), relationship counselling, and body-oriented psychotherapy, always tailoring her work to meet each client’s needs.
Alongside her regular EMDR work, Manon now offers EMDR Intensive Therapy – a focused, evidence-based program designed to speed up the processing of traumatic and distressing experiences. Delivered in three extended sessions, these intensives can be accessed either via telehealth or in person in Cairns and Port Douglas.
In addition to her clinical work, Manon is a trained facilitator of parenting programs such as Circle of Security, 1-2-3 Magic, and Emotion Coaching, helping caregivers strengthen family relationships. She is also a registered supervisor for counsellors and mental health workers.

Schedule of Fees:
A standard 50 – 55 minute appointment is $175 incl GST.
EMDR Intensive Therapy
Standard Program (3 weekday sessions) $1899 incl GST
Premium Program (3 weekend session) $2399 incl GST
Rebates are available under certain Private Health Funds- Bupa, Police Health Fund, Medibank, AHM this also depends on your level of cover.
Rebates cannot be provided in the practice but a receipt will be sent to you for claiming.
